I have always been fascinated by the historic art of barghello.
My output consists of stitch charts where I meticulously deconstruct conventional barghello stitching and turn it into something brand new.
This work is groundbreaking and as far as I know , there is nothing else in the world like it.

Christina "Barghello" Brodie
Christina "Barghello" Brodie originally studied textiles and fashion.
Right from the get go, she has always been committed to turning traditional concepts on their head by way of a digital approach.
Her seminal book showing a number of digital stitch charts, "The New Barghello" was self-published by her in 2021, and she remains a force to be reckoned with, in terms of pushing innovative concepts as far as they can go.
